We recognize that good communication between doctors is the hallmark of fine surgical care and we strive to keep lines of communication open throughout your treatment.   Hospital Care Rarely, it is necessary to perform certain procedures in local hospitals. When there is a complicated surgery anticipated or medical risk involved, we may choose to require hospitalization. Both Dr. Seider and Dr. Stevens are active staff members of the Memorial Regional Hospital group. Most procedures can be performed as an outpatient. Some more complicated procedures may require an overnight stay. We attempt to make this experience as relaxing as possible for you.   Initial Visits When our patients call for an initial consultation visit, we make every effort to try to schedule your appointment at a time most convenient for you. We will schedule all non-emergency patients for their consultation visit prior to their surgical visit.
